Hi all! This is a lot of information – feel free to ignore it or browse through and find a header that pertains to you! Thanks for all the support! We have some bigs plans after our lease is up (i.e. 15-20k sqft facility with everything). The banks have already told us if we can continue this growth, we will have a loan – all thanks to you. Because of this, I have picked up my game. We are no longer just a place you workout. I want you to learn and excel – hence all the learning periods and new updates. I am hoping that 30 of you can do one pullup by Oct 9 – we already have had 4 do it. 26 more to go! Thank you to everyone who trains with us, helps us out on the side and recommends us to their friends.
School Schedule
Starting this week, (Monday the 20th) we will begin our school schedule as well as new schedule updates.
Training Camp: Monday/Wednesday will now begin at 5pm instead of 530pm.
Meaning we will have two groups running (5-6 and 6-7). The class start will co-exist with our Athletic Development High Schoolers/Advance.
Athletic Development: (High School/Advance) 445-530
Breakdown of how the class will happen.
435 – show up early to warm-up/mobility;
445 to 5 – SAQP (Speed/agility/quickness/power)
5 to 510 – learning period on movements and form reinforcement
510 to 530 – Conditioning
Training Camp: Removal of our 3-4PM
Nobody has shown up for 3 weeks – we are removing it. It will be open gym time instead.
Training Camp: 5am on Wednesdays
This is starting 8/22 – interested but not a current TC member? Shoot me a message and we can set-up a trial.
Reminder on Specialty Training Camps
We offer a few speciality Training Camps as well!
Olympic
Tues/Thurs 6am & 7pm – Contact me to set up an intro class (required as the movements are technical)
Strong(wo)man
Sunday at 630am – think moving tires, sandbags, carrying. This is a fun class. Open to men and women!
Learning – a new block to our training programs
We have implemented a learning period into each class about some basic ideas on fitness.
Last week we hit on Bracing from a Prone Position and a Hanging Position. This week we are working on Belly Breathing and Recovery Breathing.
Training Camp Main Lifts
We are maxing out currently in our Training Camp Classes – we have worked on, for the past 6 weeks, specific movements. Let’s see what you got!
Once we finish maxing out, we will go into a recovery phase for a week to learn the new movements then hit it hard for another 6 weeks. Curios as to what we will be doing? I will be releasing instructional videos on how to do each movement very soon (Sunday/Monday). For now, the list is below:
- Horizontal Push: Football Bar Press (purchased 4 more bars, 5 total)
- Vertical Push: Handstand Pushup Progressions
- Hinge: Deadlifts from floor, possibly chains involved if I can find them.
- Squat: Front Squat
- Fullbody: Kettlebell Double Swings, Cleans and Jerks
